What is MotorCarTrader.com?
MotorCarTrader.com is a website for classic, exotic and specialty car enthusiasts. Our goal is to provide a special and unique online experience, enabling buyers and sellers of classic, exotic and specialty vehicles to come together with our easy-to-use online classified advertisements.

What types of vehicles are listed on the website?
There is a wide range of vehicles listed on our site: the classifieds are broken down into six categories:
• Exotic, Highline & Sports Cars
• Muscle Cars
• Sport Utility Vehicles & Trucks
• Classic, Collector & Vintage Automobiles
• Street Rods & Customs
• A Wanted Ads/Vehicle Requests Section

Any type of vehicle can be listed on our site: everything from BMW, Corvette, Ferrari to Corvair, Jeep, Land Rover and Yugo. Our listings are for late models, as well as Classic or Collectible automobiles.

What is a Highline Exotic or Sports Car?
These are mostly newer or late model cars such as: Acura, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche and much more!

What makes a car a Classic, Collector & Vintage Automobile?
Usually a vehicle that is 25 years or older and/or older then 1975 is this type of car. Some newer cars may also fall in this category if they are of limited production.

What credit cards do you accept?
All major credit cards including: American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

Can I be sure my credit card information is safe and secure?
Yes, absolutely! Credit card transactions are performed with the latest, and most secure, form of encryption—128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is an industry standard and ensures that your transactions are completely safe!

How Can I improve the chances of selling my vehicle quickly on MotorCarTrader.com?
Great question! Presentation is everything. Good photos speak loudly. We can't emphasize this enough. It always helps (and definitely improves your chances of selling quickly) if you add quality photos. Ads without photos attract significantly less interest. It will definitely be worth your while.

Also, an accurate, to-the-point, detailed description makes your classified ad more attractive to potential buyers. You don’t have to write a book, just keep it simple, informative, and above all—honest. Try to make the potential buyer interested in taking the next step—contacting you.

What are the photo requirements?
The photos must be in the .GIF or .JPG format, have a file size no larger than 75 KB (72 ppi or dpi), and have a width and heigth no greater than 350 pixels. Please, don't add your 500 KB photo right out of your camera.

OK, Sounds great! How much does a classified ad cost?
Each vehicle costs only $25.00 for a 90-day classified ad with FFREE renewals. This is less than $0.30 a day, to attract thousands of potential buyers to your vehicle each day!

Our wanted ads are only $9.00 to post and they last for 90 days with FREE Renewals!

Where can I find links for automobile transportation, financing, insurance, value guides, etc.?
All of these links can be found on the Resources Page. This will provide you with links for all your automotive needs before, after and in the middle of a sale of a vehicle.

What does the "Auto Tracker" Service provide?
The Auto Tracker service allows a visitor to submit a request for an automobile by filling out a simple online form—you will then be e-mailed when a vehicle is listed that matches your request. It's that easy!

This is different than the wanted ads because this is not posted on the site, instead, it waits until a car is listed, then it send you an e-mail.

How does "My Garage" work?
This is really a great tool. This allows you to create a list of the vehicles you're interested in on our web site. With My Garage you can keep track of these vehicles and keep an eye on their progress.

What is the “Wanted/Vehicle Requests” section?
Let’s say you're looking for a particular car, but don't see it listed. For only $9.00 (for 90 days) you can post an ad stating exactly what you're looking for.

Example: Joe's looking for a 1967 Corvette Convertible 427. He doesn't see one listed so he places a wanted ad that says something like, “WANTED: 1967 Corvette Convertible, 427, A/C, Side Exhaust and Restored condition. Ready to buy.” He leaves his e-mail and phone number.

Meanwhile, Mike has the exact car he's looking for and sees Joe's ad on MotorCarTrader.com in the Wanted/Auto Requests Section. They contact each other and work out the details. Joe now has the Vette he wants and Mike sold his car: a win-win situation. That's the power of the Wanted Section at work!
