Motorcartrader.com is proud to offer another gorgeous Jaguar E-type. The stunning Jaguar E-type presented here is British Racing Green with Suede Green leather interior. This is a 1971 Jaguar E-type which was the last year for the Series 2 and 6-cylinder cars. Also, this car benefits from the rare combination of power steering and factory air conditioning making it a pleasure to drive in any weather. Furthermore, this Jaguar was previously the subject of a comprehensive restoration, which included but not limited to stripping, repainting, engine and transmission rebuild, new clutch, all chrome redone, new Suede Green leather interior from Bartlett, new glass, all new wiring etc. There is photo documentation of the restoration. In addition, we have ownership history of this car going back to 1971. The car was restored and then stored for many years after. We purchased this car from enthusiast who did some work to the car to refresh it and we finished off some other work to make this an excellent driver/show car. The following is a list of recent work which has been completed on the car:
Overall this car is a wonderful driver/show type of car. It handles flawlessly and the power steering makes driving easy. This Jaguar runs and drives excellent with no hesitation and great power. Also, it stops straight and true with no fading. The clutch feels perfect and the gearbox is silky smooth. The temperature stays consistently cool and the AC blows cold. This car has all the right items to make it a pleasurable driver and collectible car for daily driving or weekend trips. Lastly, it is truly stunning a Jaguar E-type with excellent paint/chrome and complemented by gorgeous newer interior. Jaguar Series 2 cars have been undervalued for a very long time and are finally gaining in value because of their reliability, drivability and creature comforts.
