We are happy to offer this 1966 Jaguar E-type Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe. This car was built on February 16 of 1966 and the date of dispatch was March 3rd of 1966. The car retains its original color combination of Dark blue, but originally was fitted with red interior and now is black.  The chassis number and engine block match the Heritage Certificate and the engine cylinder head is from a later model  Series 1 4.2. More details on this car:

  • This car does run and drive very nice with excellent power. It handles well, stops well, holds temperature, does not fade on braking, very tight to the road and there are no noises in the gearbox or through the gears. In addtion the clutch feels great.
  • Equipped with a Retro Air Conditioning system but not currently operational.
  • The footwells are dented from improper jacking in its past.
  • An upgraded smaller diameter steering wheel had previously been installed.
  • Upgraded Wilwood brakes have been installed.
  • An upgraded cooling fan had been previously installed.
  • A gear reduction starter has been installed.
  • Driving and walkaround videos are listed below.
  • Recently serviced and gone through in late January 2023 and ready to go as a driver.

Overall this car is a driver type of quality car with older paint showing some signs of age and imperfections. The paint is still very presentable and looks stunning on this car.
